Analysis of Errors committed by students learning English as a foreign language:
يناقش هذا المقال تحليل اخطاء الطلاب الذين يدرسون اللغة الانجليزية بوصفها لغة اجنبية. وتبدأ المناقشة بأهمية تحليل الاخطاء بالنسبة للطالب والاستاذ ومصممي المناهج والباحثين في مجال اللغويات. وتحليل الاخطاء يعني تعريف الخطأ ما هي الاخطاء التي تعتبر مهمة ولابد من تداركها وتصحيحها وما هي الاخطاء الغير اساسية وغير مؤثرة في عملية الاتصال وفهم اللغة الانجليزية ومن ثم تصنيف الاخطاء ومعرفة الاسباب التي عادة تؤدي الى ارتكاب الاخطاء عند الطلاب وتقييم الاخطاء التي يجب وضعها في الاعتبار عند حدوثها ويتم تصحيحها مباشرة مثل اخطاء تركيب الجمل واداة التعريف وعدم الوقوف على الاخطاء غير الضرورية والتي لا تؤثر على عملية الاتصال باللغة الانجليزية.
Why errors usually analyzed:
The systematic study of analyzing student's errors can be of a great value to all who concerned, the teachers, students, syllable designers, material writers, and researchers in the field of (linguistics) English language teaching and learning as follows:
To the teachers it can offer a clear reliable picture of their students
To the students by having their errors pointed out to them with diligence and reasonable conscious efforts manage to correct them.
To syllable designers and material writers, the study of student's errors gives them the most relevant help for present groups and they can plan program for their future groups.
What is the different between errors and mistakes?
An error as opposed to a mistake, it is an imperfect production caused by a lack of knowledge about the language.
A mistake as opposed to error, it is a slip of tongue which a student can self-correct when challenged ,it may be the result of carelessness or random guess ,So it is automatically or quickly corrected when noticed .
While errors need strategies to overcome
