Arabic is a language bestowed upon us by God Who adorned it with honor and eloquence and preserved it for us until the Day of Judgment. The Arabic Department is highly honored to belong to this eternal language which was honored by AlmightyGod who chose it for His Eternal Revelation.
The faculty members of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature welcome all of you and welcome all that contributes to the advancement of our Arabic language. They are working hard on preparing distinguished graduates who are able to communicate with the ancient Arab heritage, and are enlightened by modern thought to face contemporary challenges and carry the burden of teaching Arabic language in speaking, writing and research.
The department also spares no effort in developing its teaching programs to serve as a scientific beacon for all Arabic speakers. Italso seeks to extend bridges of communication with its dear students. We aim to teach them the potential of the academic department, its human resources, and its various scientific programs.

Objectives
1- Introducing students to the heritage of the Arab and Islamic nation and linking them to the Holy Qur'an
2- Working to consolidate the concept of the identity of the Arabic language
3- Preparing Arabic language graduates who are able to compete locally and regionally
4- Encouraging scientific research and preparing and implementing Arabic language programs according to the university's regulations.
5- Contribute to continuing education and community service
6- Working on developing the department's programs and activities, which are commensurate with modern programs that serve the culture of society
