Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Bani Tamim, Her Excellency Dr. Hessa bint Saud Al-Hazani, the Graduate Unit, represented by the Graduation Projects Committee under the supervision of Dr. Mai Hussein Mustafa, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, organized a training course entitled “Introduction to Research Projects,” prepared and presented by Dr. Latifa Saleh Bin Ammar, Assistant Professor of Nano Physics in the Department of Chemistry, on Tuesday, 20/2/1445 H, corresponding to 5/9/2023, at nine-thirty in the morning, in the presence of female students and graduates of the Chemistry Department.
The training course aimed to make female students aware of the importance of scientific research, the importance of research projects, and their role in developing the student’s abilities to research and analyze, in addition to highlighting the difference between various research projects in terms of content and report writing. The course also included reference to the mechanisms required to complete the writing of research reports in a professional manner. The basic parts of the research paper were explained, and the students were also informed of how to choose appropriate international scientific journals for publication and the conditions necessary for that.
The course ended with a discussion session in which the students' inquiries were received and answered.
