The importance of volunteer work lies in enhancing the sense of belonging to the community and the group, and feeling the importance of their participation and assistance within available possibilities. Under the kind patronage of Her Excellency the Dean of the College of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Bani Tamim, Dr. Hessa bint Saud Al-Hazzani, the Student Advisory Council, under the supervision of T. Tahani Abdul Rahman Al-Juwaid and T. Munira Ibrahim Al-Tamimi, in cooperation with the Voluntary Work Unit, under the supervision of Dr. Amal Al-Mashari on Sunday, has organized a voluntary project entitled (A wipe across an orphan’s forehead) on 25/3/1443 H. This project’s aim was to pay a visit to the Al-Amal Center for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in Al-Kharj Governorate, and included many interactive and creative activities that gave children the opportunity to enjoy. The visit concluded with the distribution of gifts to all children. This visit aimed to put a smile on the faces of the children as well as encourage them to lead a normal life.
