Due to the vast spread of information technology, we are more likely to fall victim of cybercrimes. In fact, this vast spread is considered a double-edged sword that can be used to facilitate international communication to bridge gaps between cultures and states, creating mutual understanding and cultural tolerance. Notwithstanding, the same advancement can be used to cause severe harm to specific people or entire organizations to serve personal political or financial agendas. Accordingly, the department of information systems has participated under the sponsorship of the college dean, Dr. Hessa bint Saud Al Hazani. The participation was represented in a presentation in the college auditorium and an exhibition in the college yard on Tuesday 25/10/2022. The theme of the event was focusingonf the most prominent cyber crimes, their types, and how to fight them.
