Introducing the Saudi Digital Library at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Bani Tamim

Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Science and Humanities, Dr. Hessa bint Saud Al-Hazani, the Community Responsibility Unit organized an event entitled " Please Children, Never Hurt Them " in celebration of International Children's Day on Wednesday, 4th of October 2023. The event was presented to children at the "Riyahin Al-Fajr" kindergarten. It was focused on teaching children through play and entertainment. It included fun ways to develop children's English language skills, as well as activities to teach them the English alphabet, numbers, and colors, and engage in physical activities. The event was implemented by a group of students from the English Language Department under the supervision of the department's unit coordinator, T. Sahar Al-Khatlan.

The Saudi Digital Library is one of the various forms of collection of digital resources from books, periodicals, university letters, conferences, symposiums and other sources of information indispensable to faculty members and students. In order to activate the role of the library and introduce it to the college community, the Graduation Projects Committee, in collaboration with the e-learning unit at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Bani Tamim, held an introductory program on Sunday, 27/1 / 1440H. The course was organized by the Vice-Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Mai Mustafa, and addressed several topics including the definition of the library, its importance, and how to take part in its activities and services. She also discussed how to use the library to obtain electronic books and recent scientific papers.
