In concurrence with the World Day of Mental Health, the Department of Education and Psychology at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Bani Tamim, in coordination with the Psychological Service Unit, presented an awareness program on the World Day of Mental Health under the supervision of Dr. Rokaya Ahmed Al-Habbo and the participation of female students of the Department of Islamic Studies. This was on Sunday, 19/2/1440 H at 9:30 pm at the College Theater. The program was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Hessa Bint Saud Al-Hazzani, the vice-deans of the College and a number of faculty members and students.
This program aims at introducing students to the World Mental Health Day and the most common psychological and mental disorders in adolescence and youth. The program also touched on how to contribute to raising awareness of mental health and protecting our children and youth from stress and psychological disorders.
