Her Excellency the Dean of the College of Sciences and Humanities at HotatBaniTamim, Dr. Hessabint Saud Al-Hazzani, opened the Indroductory Meeting of the Third Scientific Forum on Wednesday, 10/5/1440 AH at 9:00 am at the College Theater.
The ceremony started with verses from the Holy Quran recited by the council's student memberBalqis Al-Tamimi, followed by a welcoming speech by the distinguished guests of the Student Advisory Council. Then the dean of the college Dr. Hessa Al-Hazzani delivered a speech in which she explained the University's keenness on developing the talents and scientific and social abilities of students, and encouragingthem to participate in the Scientific Forum because of its great importance in developing the personality of the student in all its cognitive and scientific aspects. This was followed by a speech by the Coordinator of the General Forum at the College. The objectives of the meeting were to introduce students and members of the Scientific Forum and to specify the various conditions and procedures of student participation and the methods of registration in the Forum. Participants discussed the specific requirements and conditions of the Forum subdivisions, as well as the basic requirements for participation and the prizes allocated for each part of the Forum. An explanation was also given of thesupervision, arbitration and organizational committees and the role of each committee designated by Her Excellency the Dean, the General Coordinator of the Forum. At the end of the ceremony, the experience of a student who won at the previous scientific forum was presented, and the student explained the importance of participation and the beautiful feeling of being victorious at the levels of both the College and University. At the end of the ceremony, students were encouraged to register and create a primary inventory of the major parts of the event.
