The English Department is one of the most important components of Prince Sattam University since it was established in 1431. Since then the department has been seeking to enhance the communicative and behavioral skills of students to assist them in thinking logically, reading critically, and communicating effectively.
We aim to generate graduates who can think clearly, speak fluently, write persuasively, critically evaluate both their own and others' ideas, and acquire new knowledge, graduates who are prepared to work and use their knowledge and abilities to serve the common good.
At the moment, we are not only running a Bachelor’s Degree program in English language & literature but also responding to the needs of the other University departments by fulfilling the needs of their affiliated programs, namely, the departments of Chemistry, Islamic Studies, Computer Sciences, Maths, and Arabic.
