The Faculty of Intermediate Education for Girls was established in Hawat Bani Tamim in 1416 / 1417H. It was affiliated to the Ministry of Education. Among its departments, the Department of Science and Mathematics graduated from the Diploma . The Department offers a course on sports culture for Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Home Economics.
The College was developed in 1422/1423 to the College of Education and is affiliated to the General Presidency for Girls' Education. The department is called the Mathematics Department. The student studies mathematics, physics, chemistry and English in specialization and educational courses in four years and graduated with a bachelor's degree in science and education. In the intermediate and secondary stages, in addition to work in banks, companies and hospitals in the statistical aspects.
The department offers service courses in the departments of chemistry and information systems, and the department's plan of education for science was changed in 1433/1434. The courses are taught in English, except Arabic and Islamic studies.
