The College of Sciences and Humanities in Hawtat Bani Tamim incorporates various laboratories and basic facilities equipped with all the advanced equipment needed to support students and faculty members. Thus, they provide opportunities for creativity and innovation research.
Chemistry Lab:
The main chemistry laboratory contains the tools, glassware and chemicals needed for students to execute practical training in organic and inorganic chemistry.
Physics lab:
It holds the capabilities required for experiments related to the properties of matter, electrical experiments, and optical experiments related to lenses. Additionally, it incorporates a research laboratory.
Biology Lab:
The biology laboratory is used in many applications. Therefore, it is considered one of the most essential laboratories, as it is used to examine microorganisms, samples, anatomy, and classification of organisms in order to study them and know their functions and how they work. Biology laboratories include various essential tools that help in carrying out laboratory tasks, such as refrigerators, magnifying light microscopes, dry ovens, and centrifuges.
Nano lab
The Nano Lab is a chemistry lab that provides basic chemicals, tools, and glassware, as well as some small devices such as scales, magnetic stirrers, pH meters, electric ovens, and a gas cupboard. It facilitates conducting the necessary chemical experiments for the students to complete their graduation research during college studies.
Digital Library:
Provides research services for information sources for students, in addition to printing services.
Language lab:
Provides teaching services to learn different listening and speaking skills. It also contains various computer software that students benefit from in developing the educational process.
Computer labs:
The college has two computer labs equipped with a large number of devices. These computers are equipped with various programs required by the students for the educational process. Computer labs provide an integrated information technology environment that supports teaching and training in the field of computers and information.
