تُمثل المسؤولية المجتمعية للمؤسسات ركنًا أساسيًا من أركان رؤية المملكة 2030 وأحد أهداف الجامعة الاستراتيجية وبناء على ذلك وتحت رعاية كريمة من عميدة كلية العلوم والدراسات الإنسانية بحوطة بني تميم الدكتورة حصة بنت سعود الهزاني استضافة إدارة المسؤولية المجتمعية مركز ذوي الهمم للرعاية النهارية بالتعاون مع مستشفى حوطة بني تميم لتفعيل اليوم العالمي لمتلازمة داون تحت شعار (معاً وليس لأجلهم) في يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 1444/8/29هـ. وضح من خلاله الجوانب النفسية والاجتماعية والصحية لمصابي متلازمة داون وأثر الاندماج في المجتمع عليهم واشتمل على توزيعات تحمل عبارات تبين ذلك وزعت عبر أطفال المركز في أرجاء الكلية.
