Despite the prevalent traditional culture that tends to undermine the status of women, Saudi women have proven their ability to attain superior and distinctive scientificaccomplishments in education, medicine and other areas.To achieve the role of Saudi women in Vision 2030, the Department of Arabic Language has organized a program entitled "The Role of Women in Vision 2030" on Wednesday, 29/6/1440 H at the amphitheater.The program included a discussion of one of the most important goals of Vision 2030, namely, to enhance the status of women in all fields. Doors are now open for female innovators and intellectuals to participate in the renaissance and construction of the nation. Women are encouraged to be creative while adhering to their traditions, code of dress and original customs.During the program, the most prominent female figures who have had an impact and importance in the history of Saudi Arabia have been mentioned and their most important achievements presented. The role of religion in promoting the status and honor of women has also been highlighted. Dr. Amani Abdul Razzaq praised the Kingdom's efforts to empower women and enhance their role in society. At the end, some pamphlets and publications related to the subject were distributed to the audience.
