In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of prophets and messengers, our Prophet Muhammad and his Family and Companions. Our true religion urges us to work with perfection, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said (Indeed, God loves that if one of you does a job, he should master it), so work without mastery is not of quality. The concept of quality is linked to the concept of development, and they are two important factors in the educational environment because of their prominent role in the process of continuous improvement. From this point of view comes the importance of establishing the Vice-Deanship for Development and Quality at the College of Science and Human Studies in Hotat Bani Tamim. The vice-deanship’s goal can only be achieved by collaboration with the College administration, its various academic programs and its affiliated units, through the development of long-term strategic plans to improve the teaching and learning processes in line with the requirements of this stage, the needs of society and the labor market. The Vice-Deanship is also concerned with spreading the culture of quality and development among students, faculty members and employees, and ensuring that the standards of the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment are met to ensure quality performance at the level of all academic programs in an effort to contribute to achieving the mission and objectives of the College. The Vice-Deanship also focuses on the importance of development programs to enhance the skills of all College employees in order to ensure their effective contribution to improving performance, as well as implementing community training programs to enhance the role of the College in its external surroundings, and transform improvement plans into a tangible reality that benefits the College students. The Vice-Deanship will work and diligently on continuous development within the framework of the plan extracted from the strategic plan of the University and the development of a future map for competition, God willing, through the application and fulfillment of quality standards for academic accreditation.
