Department of Islamic Studies

 

The Department of Islamic Studies at the College of Science and Humanities in Hotat Bani Tamim is seeking to achieve its vision and mission that emanates from the mission of the College and that of the University. It aims to prepare and qualify distinguished female graduates in the field of Islamic studies through a high quality environment and modern curricula that serve the community and promote adherence to Islam.

Accordingly, the Department reinforces many of the legitimate aspects that have been and continue to be one of the major pillars of Saudi Arabia, such as calling to God, rejecting extremism and consolidating Islamic Sharia.

Vision

Offering a distinguished Sharia education according to quality standards and the needs of the community.

Mission

To prepare a generation of teachers, preachers and other specialists with high efficiency in the field of Islamic studies, research in its sciences and the mechanisms of application of related fields through a high quality scientific environment and modern educational curricula that serve the community and promote adherence to Islam.

Objectives

1. Providing the community with professors, advocates and researchers specialized in the field of Islamic studies.

2. Knowledge enrichment of the student in the field of Islamic studies.

3. Promoting the students' Islamic culture and ethical aspects.

4. Qualifying students for conducting research, studies and specialized scientific dissertations.

5. Contribution to the preparation of scientific researchers qualified to pursue higher Islamic studies.

6. Building an integrated Islamic personality that is aware of its rights and capable of performing its duties towards society and the nation as a whole.
