The Scientific Research Committee, in cooperation with the Arabic Language Department at the College of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Bani Tamimhas organized a workshop entitled: "A Step towards the Rehabilitation of Arabic Teachers for Teaching non-Arabic Speakers" on Thursday, 30/06/1440 H, 9:30 am at the Meeting Hall, first floor.
The workshop was presented by Mrs.Abeer Abdul Hakim, lecturer at the Arabic Language Department. The workshop has targeted faculty members and students alike.
The workshop aimed at highlighting the following:
• One of the most common questions in the field of teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers.
• Types of competencies that we aim to impart to learners.
• The importance of listening and its role in learning Arabic.
The workshop ended with a recommendation to teachers to exploit the real practical environment in the educational process and positive reinforcement.
The workshop was held for one hour and was characterized by positive interaction active participation byfaculty members and students.
