The Faculty of Sciences and Humanities in HotatBaniTamimhas organized the Graduation Ceremony of the tenth batch of BA and BSc students on Tuesday 18/7/1440 H at the Student Activities Center in the Governorate under the patronage of Her Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Hessa Al-Hazzani.
The ceremony was attended by the leaders of the college, Dr. Mai Mustafa, the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Affairs Vice-Dean, Ms. Tahani Al-Joeyed, the Quality Assurance Vice-Dean, Ms. Fatima Al-Kalib, the heads of departments and a large number of faculty members, administrative staff and graduates' mothers.
The ceremony began with national anthem followed by a march of graduates from various disciplines.
The ceremonyproceeded with a recitation of verses from the Quran by student AmaniAl-Grini from the English Department.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Hessa Al-Hazzani, then delivered a speech in which she thanked our wise Government and leaders for their support forhigher education in general and Saudi female students in particular.
Her Excellency also offered many recommendations to the graduates wishing them success and explaining that the currentphase marks the beginning of a new stage of self-realization and advancement of the country towards what corresponds with the wishes and tendencies of students.
She concluded by thanking all attendees for their active participation in the celebration.
After that, student Fatima Al-Othman gave a speech on behalf of the graduates: she thanked the guests including the leaders of the college for their participation in the ceremony and the joy related to achievement and graduation.
She also mentioned in her speech the hospitality she and her fellow graduates received from the Dean of the College, Administration and faculty members during the longprocess of their studies at the College.
After that, a documentary about the College's success story and achievements was displayed.
The story of the graduates' study journey from the beginning of their academic life up until graduation day was also presented to graduates.
At the end of the ceremony, the Dean of the College honored the graduates, starting with students with the First and Second Honors and then the rest of graduates.
The ceremony concluded with the invitation of the guests to a banquet that was prepared for the occasion.
