On the joyful Tuesday of 21/2/1443 H, the College of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Bani Tamim, under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Hessa bint Saud Al-Hazzani, the Nation's Radiance Unit, under the supervision of Mrs. Manal Al-Duhaim, organized the events and activities of the National Day, which lasted for three days, starting with a symposium entitled (Our Home: March and Growth), presented by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Al-Tamimi via Zoom. He addressed several topics in which many faculty members from the College of Sciences and Humanities and the College of Business Administration participated. The symposium was characterized by recitations and honorary speeches about the virtues of the country, highlighting the duties of citizens towards their dear Kingdom.
Wednesday 22/2/1443 H. witnessed an event called "Embracing a Nation". The College was covered in green and efforts were exerted by all participants: the Student Activity Unit, the College clubs, councils, departments and units all participated in the celebrations and proudly listened to the national anthem with the ambition of achieving the 2030 Vision. Then student Balqis Al-Tamimi presented the "Mornings of the Nation" activity that was followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. Then an honorary montage was presented, including students’ distinguished participation that highlighted their ambitious talents. The Dean of the College also delivered a speech marked by pride in the nation that gives high priority to science and education. Furthermore, she offered her most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Saudi National Day. Student Noura Al-Kathiri, from the Department of Arabic Language, participated with a distinguished recitation of a patriotic poem. Then everyone was invited to attend a national exhibition that included the participation of the College departments, units, clubs and student councils in a joyful atmosphere of national competitions with valuable prizes that instilled beauty and enthusiasm. The application of preventive precautions in accordance with the principles of social distancing was taken into account throughout the activities.
The administrative staff also organized a program consisting in a play entitled "She is Our Home". It focused on the stages of education and the historical path the nation went through until it reached the tangible advancement and the honorary covenant of the present flourishing reign in spite of the Corona pandemic.
