The graduation project is the first integrated scientific research that the student undertakes to apply the knowledge and skills she acquired during her undergraduate studies and implement them on the ground. Given that the choice of the research problem and how to formulate it in a scientifically accurate manner is one of the obstacles facing the students of graduation projects, the Graduates Unit, under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Sciences and Human Studies in Hotat Bani Tamim, Dr. Hessa bint Saud Al Hazani, held a training course entitled " Methods and Mechanisms of Scientific Research” remotely via Blackboard, on Sunday and Monday corresponding to 19-20/3/1443 H at seven o’clock in the evening.
The training course was directed to students of graduation projects and the number of attendees was (12) students. The training course was presented by T. Maryam Faisal Al-Mutairi, lecturer at the Department of Information Systems.
The lecture aimed to introduce the students to how to choose the project problem, formulate hypotheses, methods and mechanisms of research in previous studies from a variety of sources, including the Saudi Digital Library and Google Scholar. It also explained how to arrange concepts and ideas using mind maps, in addition to managing search resources, managing references, cloud storage, and plagiarism checker.
In conclusion, the Graduate Student Unit extends its thanks and appreciation to lecturer Maryam Al-Mutairi, and we pray for her continued success and ask God for success for our students of graduation projects.
