Exercising is one of the most beneficial things in general. And with the advent of the month of Ramadan, we can take advantage of this opportunity to practice sports while fasting, because of its health benefits proven by scientific studies, which contradict with the wrong habits often practiced during this month, such as inactivity, laziness, and fatty meals... To raise awareness of this, The Sports Activity Unit, under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Bani Tamim, Dr. Hessa bint Saud Al-Hazani, held a program entitled (Exercise for Fasting) on Wednesday 30/8/1444 H at the College Theatre. The program aims to educate the audience about the importance of sports for the fasting person, and the type and duration of sports suitable for him/her, whether before or after breakfast, in addition to some tips that enhance sports performance, whether the person is an athlete or a beginner in sports. The discussion also included sports for diabetics, and the time and type of exercise suitable for them.
